Pokémon Japanese CP6 20th Anniversary Booster Box

CP6, released in Japan in 2016 to mark the Pokémon TCG's 20th anniversary, reprinted classic Base Set-era cards including a new holographic Charizard in a special commemorative frame, mirroring what XY Evolutions later did for the English-speaking market. As a one-off anniversary release rather than an ongoing set, its original print window was deliberately limited from the start. A recent public sale of a sealed Japanese booster box was recorded at approximately $1,500. Its direct nostalgic tie to the original 1996 Japanese Pokémon TCG launch gives it strong appeal among collectors focused specifically on Japanese-exclusive anniversary product. Sealed examples are increasingly hard to find a decade after release as more of the original run has been opened for graded Charizard singles.
